I warmly welcome you to the website of the Patachich Pilgrimage and Cultural Center, where we undertake to share the inexhaustibly rich heritage of our founding king.

The earthly remains of our King Saint Ladislaus were laid to rest, according to his last wish, in the cathedral of Várad, which he founded, thus establishing a centuries-old tradition of pilgrimage in the Sebes-Körös region, elevating Várad to one of Europe’s most significant pilgrimage sites.

Together with my colleagues who lead this center, I warmly invite you to come to Oradea! Our Church and the world need to nourish themselves from a healthy source and choose the right path to build and secure our future. Now is the time and opportunity for the springs of Saint Ladislaus to open again! Let us draw from them, and God’s blessing will not elude us!
